About Paul Strauch Studio

Some might say... "I should have known." An art major in college, I believed the forecast for artists in business. So, instead of following my heart, I was lured away into corporate advertising and marketing for 14 years. I got a positive philosophic spin from that experience, though. The business world gave me a lot, including good business practices. In 1990, I took time off from the corporate world to do some painting. While working on a children's book, I began dabbling with clay again. "Leo" sprang forth from my hands like a gift from beyond. Paul Strauch (sounds like Strauss, but with a "K" at the end) Studio began as Conscious Designs in 1992. By 1993, our customers included galleries, fine gift stores and catalogues. Today, our customers are still galleries, fine gift stores and catalogues, just more of them. I thank you for your business. I've always called Oregon home and probably always will.
